Sick and tired

I'm staying home from school today. I've been sick with the flu since either Thursday or Friday. You know, I HATE being sick. It puts me in a bad mood. A Really Bad Mood. I ended up yelling at people on Monday night 'cause they were being too loud at rehearsal. I hate taking medicine. I hate feeling dependent on anything, medicine included. I've been cutting back on my medicine intake these past couple days (or trying too). That basically involves me trying to go to school with no medicine in my system, since I slept just fine without the medicine, but then feeling horrible and taking medicine, since I would bring the medicine to school.

I'm going to rant a bit more. Since I had some free time, I went and looked at the thesis my CA History teacher assigned me. Earlier, he had us turn in a thesis, but if he didn't like it, he said he would assign one to us. I wanted to do one on how improved transportation changed CA from a virtual island to the powerhouse it is today. I thought it was a pretty good thesis, and my teacher did too, he just said it needed a little tweaking. I assumed that the thesis he assigned to me was pretty similar to the one I chose. Well, I looked it up just now, and it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with transportation. Instead, it's about how screwed up American policy was towards American Indians after the Civil War. That just kind of pisses me off. I'm sure it doesn't help that I'm already pissed off 'cause I'm sick.

All right, I'll stop ranting at you now. Not like it really matters, anyway. I'm just cranky today. And yesterday. And I hate missing class for something as stupid as illness. I'm going to go take a nap.
