...Or maybe I'm just too fatigued to blog; whatever. Okay, here's what has happened since I last posted. Had a party on the 8th for Sean's b-day, which was very fun. Went to Sac on Sun, came back tues, when I found out that my grandmother had collapsed about 6 hours after being released from the hospital for a mild heart attack. My mom and I had been planning to visit my grandparents on the weekend, but we moved it up to wednesday because, well, they're old, and we don't know how much longer they're gonna live. We got there, and by Sunday my grandma was walking some without her walker. Turns out, a doctor gave her the wrong medication that lowered her blood pressure too much, which is why she fainted. I'm glad she's doing so much better.
Hermione, the cat, is missing and presumed dead. She was really sick before Mom and I left, and by the second day Cyn was cat sitting, Hermione was gone. Cyn couldn't find the cat anywhere (and she looked everywhere). This sounds horrible, but since the house doesn't smell like dead cat, I think she somehow made it outside. I miss that cat. I keep having dreams that I find her and she's alive and well, that she just went away to heal. Hermione was about the best cat a dog person could have. I feel like a bad pet-mommy.
On a lighter note, I got a job offer today. My techie teacher offered me a job as a reader, which will turn into "theater tech 1" when school starts again this fall. This will be my first job with hourly wages (besides babysitting), so that's pretty cool. The thing that stinks is that this semester I'll need to work my class hours first (6 hours) and then do my paid hours. With my classes, and if I didn't take any lunch breaks, I could do 16 hours a week altogether. Luckily, my tech teacher understands that I'm taking 24 units, and so, though I'll get paid less for the remainder of this semester, I'll have a good-paying job next semester. This job will allow me to work the professional shows that come to our school.
