Lucky Number 6!

Well, Sean and I had our 6 month anniversary now, on the 8th. Yep, special election day. Ah, well, at least it's a day everyone notices. I sincerely hope that we have another few 6 months, at the very least. Sean makes me feel very content and happy and loved.

I have a job lined up for a few days, which may lead to more work later. In the theatre world, when a theatre can't find enough union techies to do what work they need to do, they get what is called an "overhire." An overhire is a non-union worker who does a union job, and who gets paid about half of what a union member makes. I'll get paid about $20 an hour for a six-hour stint, and again for another six-hour stint the next day, just about. I'll have REAL job experience! And Christmas shopping money! And a chance for more work later! Yay! And to top it off, if I get enough overhire work, I can apply to the stagecraft union to be let in without the 500 hour apprenticeship. So cool, huh?

I just can't let it conflict too much with school or plays. It'll be cool. I'm good at balancing stuff.
